Plants/Flowers

Postby erictjh on 21 Feb 2008, 17:13

Hi everyone! I have a Nikon P5100 - PnS Camera with Full Manual Functions. Am very much interested in photography, but not to the extent of getting a DSLR just yet. Plan to learn as much as I can with my P5100 before I consider getting one.

Anyway, one of my favourite subjects are flowers. Not that I have any particular liking for them, but they're easy subjects, considering that they are already pretty, in abundance, and they don't move! Here are some of my photos. Would greatly appreciate comments so that I can build on my pros and learn from my cons. Thanks!

Hey Eric, I really like the 2nd one for its simplicity in composition and colour.

Thanks for the compliments!

Anyway, here's one of my first few captures with my first camera, a Panasonic FZ5 - my first camera with Manual Settings. Taken in Koh Samui, Thailand
